​Insight Accounting was founded by Rick Moore, CPA, J.D.  Rick brings over 30 years of accounting, audit, tax, CFO and legal experience to every client engagement. Rick graduated cum laude with a B.S. business administration, concentration in accounting from University of Richmond Robins School of Business. He received a merit scholarship from Ernst & Whinney, now Ernst & Young. Later he worked in the audit department of the international accounting firm Peat Marwick, now KPMG, where he supervised engagements of a county government, and a major clothing manufacturer, among others. He then obtained his law degree from University of Baltimore School of Law, and upon graduating, joined the international firm of Arthur Andersen in its tax department.  In his career, he has received numerous awards for outstanding client service. Rick considers each client a trusted partner, and strives to build long term relationships by adding value with proactive advice, responsiveness, friendliness and honesty.
